I made this linocut as a tribute to the best pub I’ve ever known. It was a model of what all good pubs are: eclectic community spaces where the most unlikely combinations of people come together to share their stories over a pint, and where everyone is welcome.

I’ve hand printed each image, using a traditional Japanese bamboo baren. There will be some natural variation from print to print.

Lino is a traditional printing surface, made using natural materials: wood flour and linseed oil.

The red ink is made in Britain from high quality pigment and vegetable oil.

The image is approximately 60mm x 40mm, and the paper is approximately 72mm x 54mm.
