The Devil’s Den is an ancient burial mound, thousands of years old, on Fyfield Down in Wiltshire.

Speak to the right people and they’ll tell you: if you fill the hollows of the capstone with water then a dæmon will pop by at night for a little drinkypoo. Much obliged, I’m sure.
